Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and performer best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. Then, she appeared on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. In 1957, she made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive hit and Louise earned the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber in contrast to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she was also a prominent director for popular TV programs like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. Her childhood was spent in Toronto and through her teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained to Toronto since then.
