Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28th, 1998 located in Los Angeles California) is an American actor, singer, and vocalist. Ariel's acting career started at age six years old, when she starred in an advertisement for Cool Whip. Her first TV role at age 7 appearing on an episode of the CBS sitcom Listen Up!. Later on she was a part of some of the shows she appeared in, including Monk Bones or ER. Gretchen was her character in 2007 in Disney Original Channel's animated program Phineas and Ferb. Two years later, after that, she was cast in the role of Alex Dunphy for the smash TV show Modern Family. Along with the rest of the Modern Family cast have won the Screen Actors Guild Award for the Best Performer by a Group in the field of Comedy Series four times. Ariel still does voice acting, voicing characters such as the ParaNorman CloudyWithAChanceOfMeatballs, and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is a purple Taekwondo belt. She's the younger sister to actors Shanelle Workman and Jimmy Workman. She loves to sing and is part of the band WickedSweet. She is also involved in environmental organizations that promote sustainable living. Her sister, in 2012, filed to become her guardian alleging that she was subjected to emotional and physical abuse by her parents. In 2014 Shanelle became the permanent guardian of Ariel.
