Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer, and song writer. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. But, she is mostly as a musician. Music is her first love, that she insists on; it's something that she started dabbling in since she was only 9 years old. At the age of 12 her music began to take more serious form and she began professional training. At the age of 13 when she began writing her own songs. Her first cover album wasn't released until 14 years after. Since then there has been never a moment to rest. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic origins. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, even though she was raised speaking English only and never lived in Mexico. To preserve the heritage she's learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs using the Spanish language. She recorded a Spanish version of a song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she was awarded four "yeses" (or votes) by the judges at The Seattle audition. Though she initially auditioned as a solo artist, in "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed into groups for the remaining part of the auditions. They were eliminated at the final show.
